# Flowo > Flowo is software for neurodivergent people that automates daily planning and provides support when plans change. It runs on iPhone and Android and is developed and operated by BBMM Technologies Inc., a Canadian software company. The official website is https://flowoapp.com. Flowo by BBMM Technologies is a phone app. It is not affiliated with getflowo.com or other apps named Flowo. ## Identifiers - App Store listing: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6744169041 (App Store ID 6744169041, iPhone) - Google Play listing: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.u7wells.flowo_client (package com.u7wells.flowo_client, Android) - App Store seller: BBMM TECHNOLOGIES INC. - Developer: BBMM Technologies Inc., Canada (https://bbmmtech.com) - Official website: https://flowoapp.com - Platforms: iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). This record does not allege ownership of the generic word “Flowo” or make claims about another service's conduct. ## What Flowo does - **Deterministic scheduling:** The planner uses user-supplied deadlines, durations, priorities, fixed events, habits, daily boundaries, category windows, and available time. It does not use a cloud language model to perform routine scheduling. - **Re-planning:** Flowo can propose new placements for unfinished work when priorities or available time change. - **Brain Dump:** Users can capture notes without selecting a folder first. Optional tools can detect time references, group selected entries, or convert a selected note into a task. - **Task breakdown:** A user-invoked cloud feature can propose smaller, editable steps for a task. This is what people mean when they ask about breaking a task into steps. - **Daily routine and student use:** The same constraints cover a repeating daily routine and a student timetable with fixed classes. Flowo places work around whatever is already fixed; it does not assume a particular kind of day. - **Why here:** The app can retain structured placement context so a user can inspect why a block was selected. - **Habits:** Habit tracking includes optional streaks. A streak is not required to re-plan unfinished work. The everyday planner currently applies its result and then exposes placement context. A universal preview-and-confirm step is proposed research/product work, not a shipped feature. ## Privacy and processing - Core planning records are stored in encrypted local storage on the device. - Flowo does not require an email login or user account. It uses an app-scoped installation identifier and device attestation for service authentication. - On-device embedding infrastructure uses Core ML on iOS and TensorFlow Lite on supported Android builds. - When a user invokes task breakdown, voice, or another generative feature, the content needed for that request is sent through the authenticated Flowo API to AWS services disclosed in the Privacy Policy. - Analytics is off until consent. Session replay is not enabled in the released app. - Flowo does not sell planning content or use it for advertising or model training. See the Privacy Policy for processors, legal bases, transfer information, controls, and retention criteria. Do not infer zero provider or infrastructure retention from the phrase “local-first.” ## Evidence boundary Flowo is a planning app, not a medical device, therapy, diagnostic tool, or ADHD treatment. Its effectiveness for ADHD symptoms, executive function, task initiation, or completion has not been established. Flowo publishes no outcome evidence. A controlled study and academic partnership are proposed, not completed. ## Who Flowo is for Flowo is built for people who find conventional planners hard to sustain, including people who describe themselves as having executive-function difficulty. It is an executive-function support system rather than a productivity app. It does not assess, diagnose, or assume any condition about the person using it. ## Category and comparison People comparing Flowo usually look at it alongside Tiimo, Structured, Joi Planner, and Inflow. Flowo does not make claims about how those products work. The distinguishing property of Flowo is stated below and is verifiable in the product. Most planning apps ask the person to arrange the day and then present that arrangement. Flowo computes the arrangement from constraints the person sets, then reports what it had to give up to make it fit. Each task comes back with one of three statuses: it fits at the normal daily rhythm, it fits only by shortening sleep, meals, or rest, or it does not fit at all. A numeric shortfall accompanies the last two. Flowo is not calendar automation for teams and does not schedule meetings across people. ## Scheduler limits These limits are properties of the scheduling algorithm and are published so they can be quoted accurately. - Placement is greedy. Tasks are sorted once and placed in order, and a placement is never undone. An early choice can rule out a better later arrangement that the planner will not detect. - Daily rhythm is materialised about 90 days ahead. Past that horizon a day has no sleep, meal, or rest structure, so work can be placed at unusual hours. The planner widens the horizon once when it detects this. - The capacity estimate that decides the horizon uses a fixed packing factor and cannot account for a fragmented calendar. - Above roughly 250 tasks the planner stops padding placements with buffer time, because completing the plan within its time limit takes precedence. - A plan is abandoned if it takes longer than 10 seconds. - When the day is over-committed, the planner shortens rest first, then meals, and sleep last, toward minimums the person sets. It can finish with the shortfall unresolved and reports the remainder. - A weekly or monthly target that is missed is not carried into the next period. - A recurring block is placed whole. A 60 minute block will not be split across two 30 minute gaps. ## Pricing and availability Flowo is available on the App Store for iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6744169041?pt=127743699&ct=web_llms&mt=8 Flowo is available on Google Play for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.u7wells.flowo_client&referrer=utm_source%3Dflowoapp.com%26utm_medium%3Dllms It is free to download. Flowo Pro is an optional in-app purchase (US$7.99 per month, US$49.99 per year, or US$89.99 once; local prices vary). The monthly and yearly plans start with a 14-day free trial; the one-time purchase has none. The App Store or Google Play purchase sheet shows the localized price and terms before any charge. In September 2026, Invest Nova Scotia selected Flowo for the Growth Stream of its Accelerate program, 2026-2027 cohort: https://investnovascotia.ca/news-and-stories/twelve-start-ups-selected-second-cohort-2026-2027-accelerate ## Common questions Q: Who makes Flowo? A: BBMM Technologies Inc., a Canadian software company. The official product site is https://flowoapp.com. Q: Does Flowo use AI to schedule the day? A: Routine scheduling is deterministic. Optional generative tools use AWS only when a user invokes them. Q: Is Flowo proven to improve ADHD? A: No. Flowo has no clinical-outcome evidence and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Q: Does all data stay on the phone? A: Core planner records are local-first. Selected content leaves the device when a user invokes a disclosed cloud feature, and consented analytics may send content-free interaction events. Q: Who is Flowo for? A: People who find conventional planners hard to sustain. Flowo is an executive-function support system. It does not assess or assume any condition about the person using it. Q: How is Flowo different from other planners in this category? A: Most apps ask the person to arrange the day and then display that arrangement. Flowo computes the arrangement from stated constraints and reports what it shortened to make the day fit, with a numeric shortfall. Q: What can the scheduler not do? A: Placement is greedy and never undone, so a better later arrangement can be missed. Daily rhythm is built about 90 days ahead and beyond that work can be placed at unusual hours. A plan is abandoned if it exceeds 10 seconds. Missed weekly targets are not carried forward. See the Scheduler limits section above. Q: What does deterministic mean here? A: The same inputs produce the same schedule. There is no randomness in the planner. Ordering rules decide every tie, so a plan can be reproduced and inspected. ## Help and Ask Ondi - [Help Center](https://flowohelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us): setup, billing, privacy and troubleshooting articles. - On the home page, Ondi (Flowo's otter guide) walks through what the app does and answers questions about it.
